At a recent Senate hearing, one official quipped that the most dangerous place to be in New York was in between Senator Eric Adams and a television camera.

In March, he took to the pages of the New York Post to decry the practice of youth wearing saggy pants across the City.

He authored a bill to give transit workers – who are not trained law enforcement officers – stun guns.

He also proposed legislation for the creation of the “gas police” for motorists to call when they felt fuel prices were too high at their gas station of choice.
