Latimer: Voting with Party Bosses 99 percent of the time

George Latimer voted 99% of the time with New York City, Democratic Party insiders like scandal-plagued Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver, even if that meant voting against Westchester families and taxpayers.

From the MTA Payroll tax to eliminating the property tax cap for New Rochelle, to failing to support a state property tax cap, George Latimer has put blind partisanship ahead of New York.

  1. Jimmy says:

George Latimer is a man of integrity and conscience. Don’t ruin this man’s reputation!

  2. Louise says:

Jimmy, the facts speak for themselves. Latimer is a man who has clearly sided with special interests time and again over the people of Rye, the very people he was elected to serve. If George Latimer can’t take a stand for what’s really important in New York, then perhaps we should find someone who can put real people ahead of back door deals and party bosses. I’m sorry Jimmy but the apple of your eye happens to be pretty darn rotten.

  3. Don says:

Anyone who supports Silver over his or her own constituents must go. Get George Latimer out!

  4. Tony says:

A tax cap in a state like New York is vital to the middle class. If George Latimer chooses special interests over the middlc class then he is just another self serving politician that needs to be booted out of office.

  5. Beryl says:

How sad that these kinds of things escape the notice of the general voting public. Let’s spread the word about George Latimer, so that everyone knows the truth.

  6. Dale says:

George Latimer was supposed to retire after his last term and ran again anyway. Let’s not give him a choice this time around!

  7. Lilly says:

People over partisanship! Let’s get the message to George Latimer!

  8. Frederick says:

George Latimer is no good for New York.

  9. Josh says:

For the good of New York we must keep this man from being reelected and thereby imposing even greater tax burdens upon the middle class, the backbone of our fine economy.

  10. Jay says:

Latimer must be stopped. He is a disgrace to public office. He is in politics for all the wrong reasons. He never votes to protect his district and always votes for special interests. Westchester is the highest taxed place anywhere because we have been stuck with horrible elected officials like 25 year career politician Latimer.
